Château Aile d'Argent Blanc Mouton Rothschild
It is the most famous name in the whole of Bordeaux - Mouton-Rothschild. It was originally not a Premier Cru. The indefatigable Baron Philippe de Rothschild, after years of hard work, managed to become a Premier Cru in 1973. This was the only time a château was raised to the status of Premier Cru after 1855. The Château includes 84 hectares of vineyard. Here grow Cabernet Sauvignon (84%), Merlot (13%) and Cabernet Franc (3%), which benefit from the unique terroir, the quality of the soil and sunlight, so that these magnificent wines can be produced. There is a connection between ancient traditions and the most modern techniques such as manual grape harvesting and aging in new oak barrels. Another unmistakable feature of the Mouton-Rothschild wines is the features. Every year since 1945, another artist has been allowed to design the label for the wine, which makes the bottles a popular collector's item and increases in value from year to year.
