The Ribera del Duero wine region stretches across the northern plateau and the River Duero stretches along its entire length. Although the first wines were produced here in Roman Spain, it was not until the 13th century, when the vineyards in the region were really established. The winemaking tradition with its times of good and bad times has survived to this day and has shaped the landscape, the culture and the personality of the people. In 1982, the denomination of origin of the wine was introduced. Until then, the red wines were produced and drunk each year, and the Denomination of Origin was introduced thanks to the efforts of a small group of wineries determined to get things right. Born to write history. Groundbreaking and independent and the result of the development of a famous family of great wines. Recognized, honored and praised for the authenticity of his temperament, today Alión symbolizes a universal and future-oriented spirit.
