Cherries and roses burst on the nose, with hints of amarena, red hard candy,
wild berries, wet stone, mint and thyme. The palate is radiant and expressive,
with all of the signature elements of Coste di Rose: the ethereal
character, the saline, up-front tannic structure, and further whiffles of roses and
cherries in the finish.

Torino 1968: A fifteen-year-old Aldo Vaira leaves the comfortable city life, inflamed by the dream of claiming his family legacy back and live free among nature and the vineyards. He pioneers organic farming and in 1971 is granted one of the earliest certificates in Piemonte.
Milena takes his hands a few years later. Together, the two compose a style of elegance for their wines.
These are times of intense creativity. Vajra becomes a place where tradition and discovery elevate each other.
The arrival of Giuseppe, Francesca and Isidoro brings further energy in the family's quest. High elevations sites remain a distinctive factor to the GC Vajra wines, fostering finesse and complexity.
