On the nose, figs, dark berries, fine roasted aromas and spices. Complex on the palate, delicate fruit, blackberry, velvety tannins and a long finish.
The vinification takes place in 50 hl oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation and aging are carried out in French oak barrels for 18 months.
Constituted in the late nineteenth century, the estate has since remained a family property. It was enlarged by my grandfather, Pierre-Henri Descrambe, who passed on to me his love of the vine. I exploit it since 1971. The domain counts today 36 hectares. 7 hectares in the Saint-Émilion appellation, where low yields and a good terroir make it possible to obtain dense and complex wines with very caressing tannins:
Saint-Émilion High Renaissance
Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Château Les Gravières
Saint-émilion grand cru Lynsolence
29 hectares in the Bordeaux appellation, where a privileged terroir near Saint-Émilion gives us wines of a fine finesse:
Bordeaux From Lyne
Bordeaux Castle of the Silver Court
Bordeaux Clairet De Lyne
We can only make good wine if we have meticulously prepared the vine to offer us beautiful grapes. Our farming methods are therefore demanding in order to reach a complete maturity of the grapes. Our winemaking processes are then only for the sole purpose of obtaining the best expression of these healthy and ripe grapes so that they reflect the personality of our so rich terroir. Since 1998, the vintage Lynsolence, so named by my daughter Sandra who also created the label, perfectly symbolizes this search for depth and finesse in all our wines.
