In the nose, the Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5 delights with an extremely aromatic scent of roasted bread, pencil, blackcurrant and blackberry liqueur. Its purple color in the glass invites to the first sip. On the palate, the wine is powerful, concentrated with opulent richness and complex flavors. Here we identify elegant notes of oak, tannin and acid which are beautifully integrated. Supple, sweet and long is the ingenious finish.
After completing his approximately two-and-a-half years maturing marathon, alternating in large wooden barrels, new and used oak barrels, then again in large wooden barrels, the Valbuena is filled on the bottle to relax until the sale.
