Our producer: Bricco Ernesto
In the Bricco Ernesto winery in the municipality of Priocca, grapes are now being cultivated in the 4th generation - mainly the Nebbiolo, which is typical for the area. Renato Vezza, the current manager of the winery, returned to Priocca after years of apprenticeship and travel as a sommelier in London, Canada and Australia and decided to take the production into his own hands. The result is an excellent Rosso that can very well compete with the famous neighborhood, the Barolo. The winery's Nebbiolo grows in small quantities on the steep slopes of the Roero, and only a limited number of just over 1000 bottles are vinified. The winery has been certified for biodynamic cultivation since 1990.
