Our producer: Domaine Jean-Marc Millot

Jean-Marc Millot has been producing wine since the 1980s and has been running his own domaine since 1992. The developments of the past few years at Domaine Jean-Marc Millot are another successful "generation change" from Jean-Marc to his young, energetic and talented daughter Alix. She took over responsibility for the vineyards and cellars in 2014; the vineyards are cultivated organically, there is only minimal intervention in the cellar, slow fermentation in the ice-cold cellar, mostly old barrels, no fining or filtration - this is how the potential of the sites is fully exploited, such juicy, precise wines, accessible and yet demanding, already. A joy when young, but can be stored for a long time, noble, balanced Burgundy with a lot of spirit and depth.

This beautiful domaine in the village of Nuits St. Georges has impressive vineyards on the Côte de Nuits, including important locations in Vosne Romanee 1er Cru "Les Suchots" and 3 in Grand Cru vineyards: Echezeaux, Clos de Vougeout and Grands Echezeaux.
