For four generations, the Bertemès family has been constantly adapting traditional methods to guarantee the quality of the champagne, which is vinified and stored exclusively in their own cellars. The vineyards are located in the communes of Trépail and Avenay Val-d'Or. Classified as Premier Cru, they are essentially planted with Chardonnay vines; the hints of Pinot Noir give their champagnes their specialty.
