Since 1984, the Adank family has been passionately and enthusiastically managing the approximately 6 hectare vineyard in St Luzi in Fläsch. The wines emblematically reflect the terroir, which makes the Bündnerherrschaft so unique. The rocks of the Fläscher mountains in the background provide shelter from cold winds and precipitation. A natural moisturizing and mild influence on the vines provides the river Rhine opposite the winery. "The soil is our most valuable possession and therefore we observe it, listen to it and smell it, so it speaks clearly to us through its smell, for example between dew and day, the first walk through the vineyard." -Hansruedi Adank-
