In the nose ripe dark fruit aroma, plum, blackberry, tobacco, mocha and warm spices. Velvety on the palate, very creamy and dark fruit. Fine roasted aromas. Long finale.
The vinification takes place in large wooden tanks. Afterwards the wine goes for aging for 14 to 20 months into French oak barrels.
The Ribera del Duero wine region stretches across the northern plateau and the River Duero stretches along its entire length. Although the first wines were produced here in Roman Spain, it was not until the 13th century, when the vineyards in the region were really established.
