The scent exudes an incredible amount of deep fruit and beautiful vintage sweetness. Cherry, currant and raspberry are accompanied by delicately spicy terroir notes. What an elegant Pinot perfume! Juicy, sensual prelude on the palate, characterized by a great tannin and acid structure. The wine has an incredible power that guarantees it a very long life. The finely spicy finish stretches out enormously and impressively shows the potential of this Pinot.
Short maceration, completely spontaneous fermentation without fining, 20% whole grape fermentation and aging in used barrels, low overall production.
After an internship at Thomas Studach in Malans in 2007, as well as the subsequent apprenticeship with the Liesch family, the passion for Pinot Noir was born.
Sven Fröhlich surely got the quality awareness and the attention to detail from his first employers, Martha and Daniel Gantenbein, and deepened it with the Lipp, Christian Hermann and Georg Schlegl family at further stages.
He has been self-employed since 2015, and since 2018 the proud tenant of 1.4 hectares of vineyards in Fläsch. It is pressed in the former cellar of Thomas Studach in Malans.
Sven Fröhlich's Pinot Noir is elegant, structured and profound, and at the same time the focus is on the harmony of the individual taste components.
