Intense and multi-faceted nose with aromas of ripe stone fruits and some mango with a mineral component reminiscent of flint. The juicy acidity and its pronounced minerality give this clean and precise Pinot gris a lot of power. It is dense and full on the palate and ends long with a pleasant tartness.
Vinification takes place in used barriques and in stainless steel tanks.
Since 1984, the Adank family has been passionately and enthusiastically managing the approximately 6 hectare vineyard in St Luzi in Fläsch. The wines emblematically reflect the terroir, which makes the Bündnerherrschaft so unique. The rocks of the Fäscher mountains in the background provide shelter from cold winds and precipitation. A natural moisturizing and mild influence on the vines provides the river Rhine opposite the winery.
